Back to school: College outfit ideas

Hello everybody!
Today I’m carrying on with my back to school theme and showing you some of my college outfit ideas. I think one of the hardest things about starting college is wondering “well, what the hell do I wear?!”…that was one of the first things that sprung to my mind, but that’s just me. Not having to wear a uniform will be a weird one, do I go smart, do I go casual…who knows. I’ve decided to pick 4 outfits that I would happily go to college in, you never know, it may give you some ideas! Just going to quickly say- these outfits are purely my style (I keep it pretty casual), so maybe you won’t take anything from this, but feel free to carry on reading!

So first of all I decided on this outfit. It’s simple and smart but not going too over the top. I think pairing this suede skirt with the thin, black bomber will be perfect for autumn, as it’s not freezing but you’d want something light to just cover your arms.

This outfit can be worn easily with trainers (maybe adidas, converse etc) but can also look gorgeous with some girly flats, I think some black, lace up flats, such as one of my pairs above, would look lovely with this!

Bomber Jacket- Boohoo, £20
Black cami- Zara, £12

Skirt- Urban Outfitters, £70

Shoes- Asos, £25

Next I have something a little different to this, but still carrying on with the simple look. This amazing, baby pink jumper is my new FAVE. It is literally so so fleecy and extra soft, perfect for frosty mornings! Because of the fab quality, I would buy this in a size up, reason being its actually very cropped and I found it more comfortable to wear in a bigger size…think of the fleece guys. I paired this stunner with some mom jeans, yeah, they’re my fave too. You could aswell wear this jumper with a skirt or even under a dungaree dress when it’s a bit chilly!

I think this outfit looks best with some white converse, yes I know, mine are an absolute state! Sorry. Anyway, just like my last outfit, you can pair this also with some more classier shoes but I stuck with the converse on this occasion.

Jumper- Miss Selfridge, £20
Mom Jeans- Primark, £15 (they are actually such good quality too!)

Leather Converse- Schuh, £60

This next outfit is probably the most classiest out of the bunch, just because it’s a dress lol. But seriously, I adore this shirt dress so so much. The pattern is gorgeous and the lace up detail on the both sides of the beauty give it that extra quirk. This can really be dressed up and dressed down, which means it’s great for college. As well, it is really comfortable and airy on your body (without having to size up) which I really love.

When I ordered this dress I knew exactly what shoes I’d wear with it. Loafers of course! I have a huge love for loafers as they are comfy, versatile and can smarten up your putfit straight the way.

Dress- Missguided, £10 (in the sale, was £30 I think!)
Loafers- Boohoo, £20

Last but certainly not least is this very casual little number. This outfit is very me! This is something you can just throw on if your’e in a rush maybe or you just enjoy the casual look! It’s a really easy thing to wear as you can put on any jacket with it (I think an oversized wax jacket would go perfectly), I think footwear would be pretty easy too. I love this shade of yellow against denim, there’s just something about it that I really like.

This outfit just goes incredibly well with my black and white ‘old skool’ vans, I think these shoes in genral are really good for college as they pretty much go with everything! Again, very easy to wear, whether it be cold or warm.

Ellesse T Shirt- Harper & Lewis, £20
Denim skirt- Boohoo, £15

Vans- Schuh, £52

I hope you enjoyed reading and looking into some of my ideas on what to wear for college! I’ll be ending my back to school theme with a ‘What’s in my school bag’ post in the week.
Have a beautiful day!
Cade x
