As you may have noticed, I’ve now added the ‘travel’ category to my blog. The reason being that I’m planning on going quite a few places this year and next, including Paris, Majorca, Amsterdam and more- very excited! I really enjoyed writing about my beautiful holiday last year, so I thought why not do a blog post for each that I go on this year!? I also want to explore a few places in the UK, especially Edinburgh, Bath and Brighton…even though these UK adventures aren’t planned yet, we will see. Anyway, let’s talk a lil bit about the gorgeous Puerto de la Cruz in Tenerife.
This holiday was all about relaxation for me, and what better place to completely wind down. I wanted some time to myself, as usually I’m caught up in my own overthinking head and never just chill OUT. Tenerife is a gorgeous place, full of beautiful towns (I visited a few absolutely stunning places) and beaches, as well as the most amazing food and drink. I stayed in Puerto de la Cruz, it was so chilled yet full of gorge shops, restaurants, bars and fabulous views. It had a lovely balance- I sorta wanted a relaxed place, but with plenty of stuff to do…I dunno whether that’s too much to ask but I certainly got it!
This gorgeous kimono is from Dahlia, an amazing fashion boutique based in London. Their range is BEAUTIFUL and incredibly unique. Please check out their website! – https://www.dahlia.com/
The hotel we stayed in was just beautiful and was pure bliss- everything was on point and I’d deffo think about staying there again. My room’s view was bloody stunning, as well as the room itself! There were so many places to sunbathe and relax, my favourite places being the rooftop pool area and the jacuzzi floor with a gigantic sun beds. The location of the hotel was incredible, it was set right on the main strip of Puerto de la Cruz; as soon as you walked out of the hotel doors, you were already in the heart of the gorgeous town. My fave time of the day was when we went out and about just after dinner, the buzzing town looked so beautiful with the sunset lighting…of course this is when my camera would come out!
Okay, if this place had its best feature, it would be the AMAZZZZING cocktails. I’ve had my fair share of various cocktails in so many places, but these just topped them all. The bar staff deffo knew how to make a good cocktail, whether that be my daily mojitos, champagne cocktails or pina coladas! Food was also their forte here, I mean, I came back from this holiday feeling extremely fat. My fave meal of the holiday had to be the dish I had in Garachico, I have no idea what it was called but it was to dieeee for.
Have a lovely Sunday babes!
