
What is Hypnotherapy?
Hypnotherapy is a practice that enables you to enter a deeper/enhanced state of awareness and alters your state of consciousness. In this state, the conscious mind is suppressed, whilst the subconscious mind is revealed.
The hypnotherapist is then able to suggest ideas, concepts, changes and lifestyle adaptions to the client. This is a seed that is firmly planted when under hypnosis.
Hypnotherapy is a practice that promotes healing and positive well-being. It aims to re-program patterns of behaviour within the mind, enabling desired change to occur.
Hypnotherapy helps you make changes on a deeper level, to areas like your behaviour, thoughts and emotions. It is a relaxing, calm experience, where you are always in control. The deeply relaxed state hypnosis creates allows your subconscious mind to absorb the positive suggestions given to you – to then make the changes you’d like in your life.

Our Subconscious
Under hypnosis, our conscious mind is inhibited, and our subconscious mind is awoken.
Our subconscious is deeper seated and instinctive than the conscious mind – the subconscious mind has to experience change for behaviour, beliefs and physical state to alter. Even though we spend most of our time living through our conscious mind, it’s the weakest part.
The most powerful part of our mind is in fact, the subconscious. Here, we find our imagination, habits, feelings, beliefs, our automatic nervous system and the imprints of everything we have experienced. It is here where beliefs can be altered or abolished.
How it works
Here’s some information on how my sessions work and what would be the next steps if you decide to move ahead with hypnotherapy…
Firstly, I can answer any questions you may have. Remember, no question is a silly one! Next, I will send you a questionnaire where you can tell me a little bit about you and what you’re looking for. This way, I can create bespoke session/s that will support you, your needs and desired outcome.
A discovery call is offered if you are looking for a package (e.g. 3-12 sessions), however, you can have sessions ‘on the go’ (e.g. 1-2 sessions). You can make a decision whether you’d like to proceed with more as we go along.
Once I have the questionnaire and we’re both happy to proceed, we can set a date for our appointment.
All of my sessions take place online, via Zoom. This is a fabulous way to do sessions from anywhere in the world, also in the comforts of your own surroundings. When on our calls, we can always see, hear and connect with each other.
